Dr. Elizabeth Cramer is Distinguished University Professor of Special Education and Graduate Program Director of Teaching and Learning. Her research has led scholarly publications, consultancies and multiple grants including 17 federal grants totaling approximately $27 million in support of preparing diverse educators to work in urban settings with high-need students.
Dr. Michelle Cumming is an Associate Professor of Special Education. Her research aims to improve the social, emotional, and academic outcomes of students with disabilities, with a particular focus on students who have or may develop emotional or behavioral disorders (EBD). She has received funding from the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) and the Spencer Foundation to support her research. She has published and presented at national and international conferences.
